Yellowing leaves: Leaves may turn yellow or bleached. Spotted leaves: Leaves may develop spots and appear dead. Browned new growth: New growth at the tips of leaves and roots may brown and die. Poor fruit and seed production: Fruit and seeds may be poor quality. Disease susceptibility: Plants may be more susceptible to disease. Chlorosis: Plants may develop chlorosis. Too much phosphorus can also harm soil organisms like mycorrhizal fungi, which are important for healthy plant growth.
